Smart water timer for three watering zones
Fit 4 new AA alkaline batteries and close the cover. Buy the batteries with the timer. Power the gateway with the USB Type-C cable and join it to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi in the RainPoint Home app, then add the timer as HTV345FRF. Turn the tap off, hand-tighten the inlet upright, and connect a hose. Press a zone button, open the tap slightly, and check that water starts and stops. Bring the timer indoors before frost. Cold water only.

FAQ
Can I control watering while I am away?
Yes. Once paired with the smart gateway and 2.4GHz WiFi, you can start, stop and edit watering schedules through the app wherever you have internet access.
Can the three outlets run different schedules?
Yes. Each zone can have its own watering plan, making it useful for gardens with different watering needs.
Will it fit a UK outdoor tap?
The inlet is a female thread for a 3/4 inch or 1 inch BSP outdoor tap. Each outlet takes a 3/4 inch garden hose, and three 3/4 inch BSP tap connectors are in the box.
Can I water manually?
Yes. Press a zone button, or start manual watering in the app, from 1 minute to 12 hours. Your saved plans stay in place.
What batteries does the timer use?
Buy 4 new AA alkaline batteries with the timer, fit them, and close the cover firmly.
Does the kit include a soil sensor?
Each zone can pair with one RainPoint Wi-Fi soil sensor, sold separately, so watering can follow soil moisture.
What should I do in winter?
Take the timer off the tap and store it indoors before frost. Use cold water only.
